Yes, I watched and liked MASH in the 1970s and what Klinger wanted as you say was to be classed as 'crazy' so as to be dismissed from the army, because he dressed himself as a woman, but the army said that he could be classed as 'homosexual' and dismissed from the army, but as Henry said to him (remember Henry) "you will be on high heels for the rest of your life" to which Kilinger said "NO, I just want crazy, plain crazy" to which Henry just shook his head
